Who coined the name ‘United States of America’? Mystery gets new twist.

Apparently, Thomas Jefferson might not have been the first to coin the phrase “United States of America,”  used in the Rough Draught of the Declaration of Independence. Seems as if the honor belongs to an anonymous Virginia farmer who wrote letters to a colonial newspaper. The link above leads to an article that explains the find.
